“Health is a large word. It embraces not the body only, but the mind and spirit as well; and not today's pain or pleasure alone, but the whole being
and outlook of a man.”
James H. West

Yoga is my favorite exercise in the whole world!

I love it!!!

Yoga is so much more than just the postures. Yoga is a philosophy. It is a meditation, a healing art, a deep breathing that brings oxygen and stretch to your organs and goes a long way in the healing process. Yoga combines cardiovascular, flexibility, balance and strength workouts in one package, providing the perfect workout for the entire body. It strengthens muscles and connecting tissue, influences your internal organs, detoxify your body and also increases your endurance. Overall yoga ensures healthy and balanced functioning of the skeletal, muscular, circulatory, nervous, digestive, elimination, respiratory, endocrine, and mental systems of the body.

Originating in ancient Indian philosophy, yoga is sometimes referred to as a form of meditative movement because in addition to offering physical benefits like flexibility, core strength, and balance, it also helps with relaxation, breathing, and mental well-being. So part of what makes yoga so beneficial is that it offers simultaneous benefits to both your mind and your body.

I got something I never expected – life lessons.

I have been practicing hot yoga since 2002. I remember my very first class. During the first class, I was a little impatient as I kept falling out of postures while everyone stood focused around me. But I left the class feeling more energized than when I walked in. I was hooked. I realized that yoga is a very powerful tool that allows me to tap into my inner spiritual and physical potential.

In this guide I will share with you

what life lessons I got from doing yoga and

what are the easiest and the most beneficial

postures for you.
