Where Toxins Come From
Socrates |
The word “toxin” comes from the Greek “toxikon” which means “poison”. Every day we are imposed with chemicals in every facet of our life. They are in the air we breathe, the water we drink, and in the food we eat. Our homes and our work places are full of chemicals, and our own body even makes much of them.
Every biological activity in the body creates its own metabolic wastes. In fact, half of the dry weight of your stools is comprised of dead and digested bacteria, viruses, parasites, molds, yeast and fungi, cellular debries, free radical debris and a byproduct of certain diseases such as cancer, arthritis, cardiovascular disease, neurological disease, gastrointestinal disturbances, auto-immune diseases.
