“Health is not simply the absence of sickness.”
Hannah Green

There is really only one liquid on the planet that is the elixir of the gods and it is water. There are extensive health benefits that can be accomplished solely by restoring sufficient hydration levels. Many diseases have been shown to be reversed with just ordinary water, minerals and sea salt. Staying properly hydrated is one of the best - and easiest to implement - anti-aging strategies around, but it is one we must be vigilant about.

It’s important to drink regularly, not just when you “feel” thirsty. Most likely, as you grow older, your thirst sensation will completely disappear and you will not be able to recognize that your body is dehydrated. In other words, don’t depend on the symptom of a “dry mouth” to alert you to the need to drink water again. Keep a glass or bottle beside you at all times.

To keep your body well hydrated, drink at least half your body weight in ounces. If you weigh 200 pounds, drink ten or more 12-ounce glasses of water per day. If you weigh 100 pounds, you need at least four or more 12-ounce glasses per day. If you are physically active or live in a warm climate, drink even more. Drink only clean water. Chlorinated drinking water has chlorine that kills all bacteria. When you drink, it will kill bacteria in your gut system also.
