Anaerobic Exercise is Higher Intensity

and Shorter Duration Exercise.

Anaerobic means without oxygen. The anaerobic energy system produces energy without utilizing oxygen; its only source of fuel during the time of exercise is sugar in the blood or stored sugar in the muscles and liver. This system does not initially burn fat fuel during the time you are working out.

Exercise does not burn fat and strengthen your body directly at all. The way fat is melted is not through some heating of the body. Fat cannot be melted like butter. The fat cells are storage centers for energy as an energy reserve. Fat exists to help you survive. When the body goes out of balance with its energy consumption, it will then hold energy.
